چکیده
As the load increases, most composite beams generally experience failure in both shear and flexural behavior. This outcome highlights critical challenges of achieving sufficient strength structural integrity such beams. The proposed study has used cold-formed behavior an Enhanced C-channel (EC) connectors Light Weight Concrete (LWC) to examine new Steel-Lightweight Concrete-Steel sandwich Beams (SLCSB). ECs have provided significant resistance at faceplate-LWC interfacial interface tension separation for faceplates (cold form steel) from LWC core. Cold Form Steel (CFS) is often substitute because its high productivity practicality field. Four different are examined research with spacing. beams’ top bottom face plates covered using CFS (1.6 mm). In addition that, two types used. Two unique longitudinal spacing 100 mm 150 also one lipped without ECs. Importantly, self-tapping screws secure place between plates. effectiveness various connector subjected a two-point test assessed through series experiments.

Nonlinear Time-Dependent Behavior of Composite Steel-Concrete Beams
This paper presents a mixed finite element model for the nonlinear time-dependant analysis of composite beams with partial shear connection. The key idea is to consider, as a first approach, a viscoelastic/plastic model for the concrete slab in order to simulate the interaction between the time effects of concrete, such as creep and shrinkage, and the concrete cracking. Creep is taken into acco...
متن کاملInfluence of Shear Connection Distributions on the Behaviour of Continuous Steel-concrete Composite Beams
For this purpose a finite element model specifically developed for the nonlinear analysis of steel-concrete composite beams is adopted. This finite element model includes material nonlinearity of slab concrete, reinforcement steel, beam steel as well as slabbeam nonlinear partial interaction due to the deformable shear connection. The inclusion of the partial interaction in the composite beam m...
متن کاملLong-term Stress of Simply Supported Steel-concrete Composite Beams
The theoretical model to compute the long-term stress of simply supported steel-concrete composite beam was deduced. The model includes the effects of steel bars in concrete slab, concrete shrinkage and creep. The computed results agreed well with the test results. On this basis, the effects of factors such as concrete age to loading, longitudinal reinforcement ratio in concrete slab, concrete ...
